Time and permissions

How historical context and caller identity shape every result.

Time-aware reads

Current truth and historical retrieval are different questions. Where an as-of date is supported, Maven filters evidence for that point in time instead of treating today’s state as timeless.

Server-owned identity

The public preview does not trust a browser-supplied role or email to decide data access. The server creates the caller identity used for dashboard reads.

ACL filtering

Retrieval and citation resolution filter results against the caller’s permitted scopes before returning content. A missing result may therefore mean unavailable evidence, insufficient permissions, or both.

Note. Signing in proves who may enter the dashboard; the configured caller determines which dataset the preview reads.
